About Michelle Hanney

After spending a significant portion of her life in the DC Metro area, Michelle relocated her real estate business to the growing Richmond market to be near to her family. Michelle has extensive experience working in local and international investments and real estate. She is passionate about supporting her clients through the buying or selling process. In addition to primary homes, she enjoys helping identify investment opportunities for portfolio growth. Michelle has supported many family, professional, diplomatic, and government relocations. She specializes in luxury and divorce-related sales. 

Michelle grew up following her father's banking career to Latin America and Europe where she always rode horses throughout her school years. She speaks Spanish and German fluently and has a working knowledge of Portuguese, Italian, and French language and culture. She worked in London's investment sector for ultra high net worth clients and privately enjoys property investment and contemporary art trading. Her BA and MA are from American University and she obtained an Art Business Certification from Christie's in London.

Michelle is excited to join the Morphis Group and as a part of the Equestrian Division of Compass. She enjoys horse riding, tennis, and traveling with her children and parents.
